Well consider this good news, New York Rangers fans: Rick Nash, playing for HC Davos in Switzerland, was taken out of the game for “precautionary reasons”, and has a shoulder injury – not a concussion.
Rick Nash injured his shoulder in Swiss game. His agent, Joe Resnick says he was taken out of game and will be re-evaluated in a cpl days.

Darren Dreger continued:
Resnick stressed, Nash’s injury is shoulder and not head as some have speculated. Taken out of game for precautionary reasons.

The fact that Dreger is reporting this and confirming it with Nash’s agent is all the authenticity I need on the issue. Glad to hear that it’s “only” a shoulder injury and not something more serious. Sounds like we’ll know more details within a few days.
All Rangers fans, you can now exhale.
