Derek Stepan has been promoted to the first line alongside Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik.

With the recent injury of Wojtek Wolski, a Left Wing adjustment was necessary across the entire lineup by New York Rangers head coach John Tortorella. Tortorella has moved left winger Derek Stepan to the first line, not bad for any NHL player in their sophomore year. Stepan will notably be paired with superstars Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik.

Defensive pairings are to remain the same. Tortorella is infamous for adjusting his lines on a frequent basis, so it will be interesting to see if this sticks.
